About

The English Cottage, established in 2019, is a Personal Care Home in Conroe. With over twenty years in private care, from Austria and Germany to Texas, we are now home to seniors who value independence as well as those on hospice in need of attention and gentle care. Our mission is to engage the aging experience with the activities of daily life and companionship, while preserving the beauty and dignity of the human spirit. We offer families the opportunity to journey through memories and unique new moments of discovery, in relaxed and safe surroundings. Welcome to The English Cottage!

Amenities

We offer fully equipped and move-in ready private rooms, wheelchair accessible, with remote controlled beds, bedside tables, recliners and TVs. Electronic monitoring is also available, if desired, for added peace of mind.

Occasionally, we offer residents movie nights, with popcorn and hot chocolate, as well as gatherings with family and friends. We are dedicated to nurturing your close bonds and meaningful relationships.

We love socializing, chess games, board games, puzzles and painting, as well as smores and hot tea in the garden. With that in mind, we encourage visits, volunteers and outings.

Location

We are conveniently located within four minutes of Memorial Herman, St Luke's and Methodist Hospitals, with quick access to Interstate 45 and The Woodlands Mall.

Medication Monitoring

Under supervision and direction of the attending Physician, we offer monitored medication administration, with all prescription drugs kept in a locked medication room, per state regulation.

Nutritional and Dietary Counseling

Our menus are customized and tailored to each resident's dietary needs, specializing in Mediterranean and American cuisines. Meals, abundant in fresh fruits, veggies and protein, are prepared daily from scratch.
